The after burn affect can last up to 48 hours where as a cardio workout will only boost your metabolism for one to two hours after workout.  Eat more as well, more protein and if your trying to lean out dont go carb crazy but it is completely neccessary to put on muscle.  Whats your diet like now?</description>
