I’m your host Joslyn Davis with your answer. So I asked what do Swifty, Miley and Gaga have in common. The answer is pretty easy – and it’s dolla dolla bills! Yes, these three amazing ladies are among the top 12 celebrity earners under 30, according to Forbes. Other biggies rounding out the list include Beyonce, Britney Spears and The Jonas Brothers. Gaga came in at third place, pulling in 62 million dollars just last year. Miley came in at fourth place, thanks to the money she pulled in on her TV show, as well as with her music and for her performance in the Last Song. Swifty didn’t do too shabby either though with a whopping 45 million dollars grossed last year. Oh and did we forget to mention that Taylor was also the most played radio artist last year? Beyonce was first. But yes, that is a good point- Taylor sold out EVERY show within a few hours. And that was with the tickets LEFT OVER from the presale (Which I bought from) so there weren’t that many left. Plus she sold out Madison Square Garden in less than a minute. The fact of the matter is, Miley shouldn’t even be on this list since her daddy bought her her fame and career. And don’t yell at me for saying that, look it up, it’s true.

@NuggetLuver4Ever I will not yell at you for saying it, but it is not true and you can look that up because the proof is there. Disney execs are NOT country music fans or they would play that on Radio Disney instead of pop music and a man who had one hit song almost twenty years ago does not buy anyone even a spot as an extra on a show. Disney can get credit for her fame because they created her TV show, but she is the one who made it a hit with the kids and she earned the part all on her own…

Now as to Taylor Swift, I think she is great & all, but don’t put too much stock in the so called selling out of MSG in under a minute since those tickets were bought up in huge blocks by ticket brokers & not fans to resell at inflated prices. Yes she still sold out everywhere, but those speed records mean nothing since fans were not the ticket buyers & got ripped off
@AlvedonSalva Most of the actors from the Twilight films got their fame from those movies and when they contracted for the first one I am sure the producers nailed them down for the entire series so they were locked in at the same salary for each film and you can bet it was not more than $2 million each per film.

@bunbloblu actually most of the ticket price for a concert goes to pay for the use of the venue they are playing at and all the support staff that puts the show together for them and gets them from place to place. Most of the money the artist makes off their concert tours comes from the merchandise sales.
